ik i've just started posting art again for a bit (i only have one more queued after the dremads one i just posted)

but i figure i'd let the 149 people here know that i only got a week before i go on vacation, so no new posts from me for a bit

i have been working on stuff in this downtime (including an oc plaza sketch that i've been meaning to finish for a while now), so that'll most likely be done by this week or the week after depending on what i do with that. here's half of one of the characters lineart done, in which you guys can guess who it is

the other project i'm working on right now is CFAN9, a somewhat-maybe-weekly solo-ish writing thing that i'm doing with 40 other people. it uses a custom novel system that parses specialized markdown with some small doodles for portraits and pictures in between writing and dialogue. i've been meaning to do it again for a while now that i have a lot more free time to do things (and have been for a few years actually)

the first chapter's already available to read and i'm currently working on the second one. while there are connections to the earlier CFANs i did i wouldn't say they're required reading unless you want context on like one or two areas

kind of makes me wonder what it'd be like if newgrounds let you upload novels on here. i guess you'd just make a framework for a book and then just make that into a game submission? that or a really lengthy blog post... i wouldn't know
